Yuma Audubon Society is a community of birders, nature enthusiasts, photographers, and individuals who share a love and curiosity for birds and the natural world.
We are a local chapter of the National Audubon Society dedicated to connecting people with the birds, wildlife, and natural habitats of southwestern Arizona through birdwatching, education, community programs, and conservation.
We welcome birders and nature enthusiasts of all experience levels, whether you're a local resident or just visiting Yuma.

Yuma sits at the crossroads of desert, river, wetlands, farmland, and mountain habitats, making it one of the most unique birding regions in the Southwest.
Around 400 bird species have been recorded in the area, including migratory birds and desert specialists and the endangered Yuma Ridgway’s Rail.
